Use regular bulletin tacks to resemble 'upholstery tacks'

... So I've already changed something in my bedroom! .. nothing TOO extravagant!

You've seen my 'LOVE' sign I've done for the bedroom,

I thought it still needed something... Then 'upholstery tacks' came to mind.
I didn't want to spend the money or time to go to the store to buy some, so I just searched my junk drawers.. and found TACKS! :)
They were white though.. and I wanted them to be gold..
So I simply spray painted them with my gold spray paint and waited impatiently for them to dry....
I kind of just eye balled them as to spacing them apart.  I jammed them in one at a time to the sign and placed a towel over them (so the hammer would not knick the paint), then hammered them the rest of the way in..  Do you like my inner-fashionista idea??..

I'll be posting the tutorial on how to make this sign tomorrow! .. Stay tuned..
