Fabric Paint Numbered Pillow

'Tawk' of the day "The lamp of the body is the eye... If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light."

Hi Everyone!!
Today I will be teaching y'all how to make a Numbered Pillow with Fabric Paint.

I had already made the #4 pillow, but wasn't quite fond of the checkered pillow I made...
So I decided to make another number pillow to match #4...

So I flipped the pillow around and started 'fresh'.. :)

I did this project the hard way.. The easiest way would be by printing off a sticker stencil number..
But I don't have a fancy schmancy printer to do that so I just printed off a #7 off of the computer and cut it out with scissors.
Before cutting the 7 out with scissors, I put clear tape on both sides of the paper (covering the number)
The tape makes the paper a little sturdier, and more easy to cut out with scissors without the whole paper just tearing..  It worked really well.

I attached the painters tape around the number and made some lines with the tape on the top and bottom of the pillow to add some extra spiff.
***
Take some fabric paint (sorry no picture) ... It doesn't matter what kind of fabric paint.. I found some at my mom's house in her 'craft room' and it was years old.. but still works :)

Let the fabric paint dry for a bit then start pealing away the tape slowly!

Fill in the Number 7 and let it dry a bit also (sorry no picture)

Now you got yourself a Numbered Pillow.. I love mine and they look so awesome sitting on my couch.

Everyone asks me why I chose #7 and #4...
(I just like the looks of those numbers..)  =)

Costs:
2 pillows= 5$ each at Ollies.
Fabric paint= {free} from Ma
Brush= {old} makeup Definer brush..
Painter's tape= already had some laying around the house.
**Total=10$

Quick Tip :: I actually used an old makeup 'definer' brush I never used for the paint!
This brush is also great for fixing messy lines!!
