Do you have an old dresser that needs a little pick-me-up, but you don't want to have to take the time-out to re-sand, & re-paint? ..
Well that was kind of the case with me.. Having to deal with an 8 month crawling (on the verge of walking) around
Not to mention that my dresser is about 43857345 times my weight!
Here is my dresser before:
This is ONE of the dressers in our spare room/future children's bedroom..
I didn't want to take time to paint it and all that happy, fun stuff. So I had another idea in mind..
Remember that shelf protector adhesive I used for my pantry makeover?...
Well... I had so much of it leftover that I was racking my brain about what else I could use it for! ...
Now for the FUNNN After pictures::::
I used it for detailing my OLD SPARE ROOM DRESSER!..
AFTER MEASURING AND MEASURING..
AND TRIMMING AND TRIMMING..
TO FINALLY GET THE ADHESIVE THE EXACT SHAPE..
I UNSCREWED THE BOTTOM TWO DRAWER HANDLES TO GET THE ADHESIVE ON..
I ADDED SOME ADHESIVE TO THE MIRRORS AS WELL TO FANCY IT UP A BIT TOO!
I ABSOLUTELY AM AMAZED AT HOW GREAT THIS STUFF LOOKS..
SURE, IT MAY NOT LAST FOREVER, BEINGS IT'S ONLY ADHESIVE CONTACT PAPER, BUT I STILL LOVE IT.
(for the handles.. you can spruce it up a little more girly with fun ribbon!)
HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED THIS PROJECT!!
IT LOOKS FANCY AND TIME CONSUMING, BUT IT'S NOT AT ALL!!
What a super cute idea...Totally changes that dresser (and mirror) up. Thanks for linking to Tickled Pink!
