Make a Book Page Wreath

'Tawk' of the day "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter!"

Hi there friends:)
This project took me about 3-4 hours to complete (even though it may not look like it, by the time you rip pages and glue...you'll see what i mean)

Today this is what I'll be showing you how to make:
A BOOK WREATH MADE FROM ITS PAGES!!

What you will need are:
:: Twiggy wreath (mine was 1.60 @goodwill :)
:: Old book (mine was .99 @goodwill:)
:: Hot Glue Gun
:: AAA Battery

Next remove any extra twigs you do not want.. (I removed quite a few as you will see in a couple pics down) .. This job can get messy so have a vacuum on hand!!
:::
Next start ripping out pages at a time and tear them in HALF!

Take a half page and put the AAA battery in the center and scrunch the page around the battery like this:

Now press down on a surface with the battery and page to flatten the paper (this makes it easier to glue)

Then, with the battery still in the scrunched paper, glue the bottom of it and stick it to the wreath..
Hold for a couple seconds and hold the wreath up-side down so the battery will just fall out..
(sometimes the battery fights you and you have to manually remove it lol)

This is what it will start to look like..
HALF WAY THERE!!!
Isn't it looking so pretty?

@3 hours later you will have a finished 'book wreath'..
So cute, and so fun to make.  This is a project you can do for cheap without it looking 'cheap'.. :)

This craft cost only $2.58 to make!!!
I had the glue gun and the cute little ribbon holding it up laying around the house already.
